Roast with mushrooms: recipes for the oven and slow cooker

Honey mushrooms are considered one of the few mushrooms from which you can cook a variety of dishes. In addition, these fruiting bodies contain beneficial substances and vitamins. Roast with mushrooms and potatoes in the oven

Mushrooms and potatoes - this combination is classic in Russian cuisine. But despite its traditional character, this combination confidently leads in taste. The harmony of these two products, as well as possible, will be emphasized by roast mushrooms with potatoes, the recipe of which we want to share with you.

  • Honey mushrooms - 0.7 kg;
  • Potato - 0.7 kg;
  • Onion - 1 large head;
  • Sour cream or mayonnaise - 180 g;
  • Sunflower oil;
  • Garlic - 4 cloves;
  • Fresh greens - 1 bunch;
  • Salt, ground pepper mixture, favorite seasonings.

It's no secret that all types of fruiting bodies are 90% water, so their volume during cooking is significantly reduced. Thus, if you put them in the dish raw, then in the finished form it will be almost half less. Therefore, it is advisable to pre-fry the mushrooms in a pan until the liquid evaporates.

Clean mushrooms from dirt, cut large specimens into pieces. Rinse all the mushrooms, put in boiling salted water and boil (15 min).


Meanwhile, peel the potatoes and cut them into slices or slices. Put in water and leave for 20 to remove excess starch.


Transfer the boiled mushrooms in a colander to glass the liquid, and put in a pan with vegetable oil. Fry over medium heat until cooked and put in a deep plate.


Add onion, chopped half rings, crushed garlic, spices to taste and mix together.

Mushroom roast with mushrooms in pots

Many families love this dish, especially when the window is cold in winter. Roast with honey mushrooms in pots will look great even on the festive table.

  • Pork (pulp) - 0.6 kg;
  • Honey mushrooms - 0.5 kg;
  • Potato - 0.5 kg;
  • Bulgarian red pepper - 1 pc.;
  • Garlic - 3 cloves;
  • Pickled Cucumber - 2 pcs.;
  • Mayonnaise;
  • Vegetable oil;
  • Salt, pepper, seasoning for meat.

First of all, you need to boil the mushrooms (15 minutes) in salted water. However, before this procedure, they must be cleaned, cut off the edges of the legs and cut into pieces if large specimens are present.

Fry boiled mushrooms in vegetable oil until the liquid evaporates.

Cut the meat into medium slices, chop the cucumbers with a thin straw, and peel the Bulgarian pepper from the seeds and also chop the straws.

Combine mushrooms, meat, pepper, cucumbers, crushed garlic, add spices and let it brew.

During this time, peel the potatoes, wash and cut into cubes with a thickness of 0.5 cm.

Prepare pots for baking, and then grease the bottom and walls with mayonnaise.

Mentally “divide” the pot in half, put the meat and mushrooms on the bottom, and fill the other half with potatoes, and carefully pack.

Pour mayonnaise on top, close the lid and put in the oven.

Juicy roast with honey mushrooms in a slow cooker

Appetizing and juicy roast with honey mushrooms in a slow cooker is very simple to prepare. You only need to stock up on the necessary ingredients and grind them, and the kitchen machine will do the rest.

  • Pulp meat (beef, pork, chicken) - 0.6 kg;
  • Honey mushrooms (boiled or frozen) - 350 g;
  • Potato - 1 kg;
  • Onions and carrots - 1 large piece;
  • Lean oil;
  • Bouillon - 1.5 tbsp .;
  • Salt, pepper, spices.

We’ll start cooking: cut the meat into cubes, chop the onion into thin strips, and grate the carrots on a coarse grater.

Pour some vegetable oil into the multicooker bowl, add meat, set the “Baking” mode for 20 minutes and fry. Do not forget to periodically stir the meat with a spatula.

We spread mushrooms and extend the installed function for another 15 minutes.

Then we send the carrots with onions and again extend the frying for 15 minutes.

While the roasting process is in full swing, we are engaged in cleaning and slicing potatoes - slices or thin slices.

We send it to the slow cooker, season with spices to taste, add the broth, and leave it in the same mode for 50 minutes, stirring occasionally.

We serve the finished dish to the table, decorating with fresh herbs.
