Do I need to clean the little oil from the film before use?
To understand whether it is necessary to clean small oil from the film, you need to decide in which dish you are going to use them. So, if the mushrooms go to the soup, then preliminary cleaning is simply necessary. The fact is that when in contact with water, the oily film of the cap of the oiler swells very much, giving the water a sticky viscosity resembling jelly. In this case, the soup in the form of glue is unlikely to want anyone to try, and it will be difficult to pick up a spoon.
If everything is clear with the soup, then the question arises: is it possible not to clean the little butter before other harvesting processes? I must say that small young mushrooms cleaned from the film is much more difficult than adult individuals. Therefore, someone decides to simply rinse them thoroughly under running water, and someone painstakingly tries to remove the film from the hat.
Is it possible not to peel the little butter but pickle the mushrooms right away?
So, is it necessary to clean small oils for pickling, frying, salting or drying? It all depends on the personal preferences of each hostess. The cap of a young oiler is only 1-2 cm in diameter, so many simply do not bother to clean them, but rather they thoroughly rinse them in water, or lower them in boiling water for several seconds. Then the adhering dirt and grass will lag behind the fungus themselves. However, it must be remembered that a wet butter cap makes the marinade dark and slimy, although this does not affect the taste. Just peeled oil from the film looks more aesthetically pleasing in the jar.
Is it possible not to peel the little butter but pickle them right away? It is possible, and many experienced mushroom pickers note that this will significantly save you time and effort. After all, a small mushroom during cleaning strives to slip out of hands, which greatly complicates the work and slows it down, especially if a lot of young oil was collected. Therefore, for pickling, it is enough to simply rinse them thoroughly from dirt and adhering leaves, and then boil them in salted water for 15 minutes.
