“Merchant” meat with mushrooms: recipes from pork and veal

The recipe for meat merchants with mushrooms is one of the most common and loved by many gourmets. Pork cooked according to this recipe turns out to be unusually tender and juicy, so once you try this dish, you can no longer do without it when preparing the festive table. The dish is served hot and is perfect for a festive lunch or dinner for any special occasion, but you should not cook as an everyday dish, as it is quite high-calorie.

Cooking meat merchants with mushrooms does not require any special skills and knowledge in the culinary business, so even a beginner can cook this dish according to the recipes below.

Merchant-style meat with mushrooms: recipe for the oven


Merchant-style meat with mushrooms cooked in the oven is a very tasty and satisfying dish, the preparation of which will take no more than half an hour. As a side dish, mashed potatoes are ideal for this dish, but you can also cook regular pasta, although just a light vegetable salad will be enough, because the dish turns out to be very satisfying.

To prepare it, you will need the following products:

  • 0.5 kg of fresh pork;
  • 100-150 g of mushrooms, for example, champignons;
  • 150-180 g of hard cheese at least 60% fat;
  • 2 large ripe tomatoes;
  • mayonnaise at least 50% fat;
  • salt, herbs, pepper to taste.

Wash the meat in running water, dry it with paper towels, cut it into chops (on average 5-6 pieces) and beat it well through the cling film.

Next, put the prepared meat on a baking sheet, greased with vegetable oil, season with herbs, spices and salt. Put tomatoes in circles on top of it so that they completely cover it.

One third of the grated hard cheese should be evenly distributed over the tomatoes.

Then put mushrooms cut into slices on top of it, then grease them with mayonnaise and fill with the remaining cheese. Place in preheated oven for 25 minutes.

Merchant-style meat with mushrooms: a step-by-step recipe for a microwave

Cooking meat in a merchant style with mushrooms, a photo of which is also shown below, is also possible in the microwave.

To do this, you will need the same ingredients, but in slightly different quantities:

  • 5 pork chops;
  • 8-10 large champignons;
  • 1 large ripe tomato;
  • 150 g of hard cheese;
  • mayonnaise, salt and spices to taste.

The sequence of actions is similar to the recipe described above, with the exception of the fact that 50 ml of water must be added to the baking sheet with the components laid. Cooking time depends on the microwave power and the selected program.

Merchant-style meat with mushrooms: recipe for a slow cooker

The following step-by-step recipe for meat merchants with mushrooms in a slow cooker will help to prepare a very satisfying dish without much hassle and time-consuming.

To do this, you need the following ingredients:

  • 0.5 kg of veal;
  • 150 g of fresh mushrooms and hard cheese;
  • 3 tomatoes;
  • 2 tbsp. tablespoons of sour cream 20% and mayonnaise;
  • salt and spices to your taste.

Cut the meat into portions, beat through the film to a thickness of 0.5 cm.Cut the tomatoes into circles, the thickness of which will be equal to 1 cm, cut the mushrooms into 4 parts.

To lay out all the components of the dish in the multicooker bowl you need layers, there will be several such layers (2-3 layers of each product). But first you need to pour a little oil into the multicooker bowl, well grease its sides.



First, lay out the meat and sprinkle it with spices. Next, put the mushrooms, grease them with a small amount of a mixture of sour cream and mayonnaise, then put the tomatoes, pour grated cheese on top of them. Continue to lay out the layers in this sequence until the ingredients run out.

It will take about 45 minutes to cook the dish in the “multi-cook” mode at a temperature of 130 degrees, serve hot in a duet with potatoes and herbs.
