Recipe for Braised Cabbage with Meat and Mushrooms

Ingredients:

  • 850-950 g of fresh white cabbage;
  • 400-450 g of pork;
  • 250 g of fresh mushrooms;
  • onion head;
  • carrot;
  • bell pepper;
  • two tbsp. tablespoons of tomato paste (can be replaced with ketchup);
  • salt and spices to taste.

1. Wash the meat, dry it, cut into small cubes and quickly fry in a saucepan in vegetable oil until golden brown, then reduce heat, add 50 ml of water and simmer for ten minutes under the lid;

3. After five minutes, add grated or chopped carrots, after another five minutes, pour the washed, peeled and chopped pepper into the pan, simmer for ten minutes;

6. Now you need to add the tomato paste (ketchup), mix and simmer for another fifteen minutes under the lid.

How to stew cabbage with meat, mushrooms and peas

Ingredients:

  • 400-600 g of cabbage;
  • 300-350 g of chicken (fillet);
  • 1 \ 2 cans of green peas;
  • 50 g porcini mushrooms (dried);
  • two tbsp. tablespoons of oil for frying (vegetable);
  • one carrot;
  • 50 g butter;
  • two onions;
  • salt, spices and ground black pepper at your discretion.

How to stew cabbage with meat and mushrooms and peas to preserve all the useful ingredients? You can use the slow cooker, thanks to which all the flavors of the dish are preserved to the maximum. This healthy dish is prepared like this:

1. Mushrooms must first be soaked in warm water for an hour, then finely chopped;

2. Peel cabbage from coarse leaves and chop;

3. Peel the onion, cut into half rings or a cube, lightly brown on sunflower oil in the "Frying" mode. At the same time, in a pan, let the meat over high heat until golden brown;

4. Grated and peeled carrots grate and add it to the bowl of the multicooker to the onion;

5. Put the meat to the vegetables, on top of it, cabbage and chopped mushrooms, add vegetable oil and 100 ml of water in which the mushrooms were soaked;

6. Salt, add spices and turn on the device to the "Extinguishing" mode for 45-60 minutes;

7. Add butter and green peas to a practically prepared dish, turn it on in “Steam cooking” mode for 10 minutes.

At the end of cooking, you can leave the appliance in the "Preheating" mode and then the dish will be warm when the guests or family arrive. Before serving, you need to sprinkle the dish with chopped herbs - parsley or dill.

How to cook cabbage with meat and mushrooms in a slow cooker

Very tasty and original is obtained cabbage with meat and mushrooms in a slow cooker, prepared with the addition of very useful cranberry and apple berries. The process of cooking this dish is no different from the one described above, with the only exception that apples are added to the onions along with carrots, and instead of green peas, cranberries are added at the end of cooking. To cook it you will need the following ingredients:

  • head of cabbage (800-900 g);
  • one carrot;
  • a glass of cranberries;
  • two onions;
  • three hard apples;
  • three tbsp. tablespoons of tomato paste;
  • Art. a spoonful of sugar;
  • salt, pepper, dried dill;
  • two tbsp. tablespoons of vegetable oil for frying;
  • 100 ml of water.

Cranberries can be used not only fresh, frozen and dried berries are also suitable. The first must be thawed, and the second pre-soak.

Fried cabbage with mushrooms and turkey meat

Vegetables are well combined with poultry meat, so in order to diversify your menu you can cook a delicious cabbage dish with mushrooms and turkey meat.

Ingredients:

400 g turkey fillet;

  • 400 g of white cabbage;
  • two medium-sized carrots;
  • two onions;
  • three tbsp. tablespoons of tomato paste;
  • Italian herbs and a mixture of peas;
  • two branches of thyme;
  • vegetable oil.

Cooking:

1. Wash, dry, cut the turkey into a cube, lightly stir in vegetable oil in a pan with high sides;

2. Add the onion, diced, to the meat and simmer for five minutes under the lid;

3. Send a mixture of herbs and grated carrots to the onion and meat, cook for ten minutes under the lid;

4. Add finely chopped cabbage to the meat, 150 ml of water and tomato paste, mix, put on top sprigs of thyme and simmer for 40-50 minutes.

Serve fried cabbage with mushrooms and meat in a warm form with mashed potatoes and cereals.

Stewed Cabbage Recipe with Potato, Meat and Mushrooms

For those who want to cook an even more satisfying dish, stewed cabbage with potatoes, meat and mushrooms is suitable.

Ingredients:

  • 700-800 g of white cabbage;
  • 250 g of fresh mushrooms;
  • 400-500 g of potatoes;
  • 350-500 g of meat (pork or beef);
  • Two carrots;
  • five tbsp. spoons of ketchup;
  • 800 ml of boiling water.

Cooking:

1. Rinse the meat under running water, dry, cut into small cubes and fry in well-heated vegetable oil until a golden crust appears;

2. Next, add the ingredients with an interval of five minutes in the following sequence - washed and diced mushrooms, grated or chopped carrots, shredded cabbage and ketchup, chopped greens, salt and pepper;

3. Pour all the ingredients with a glass of boiling water, cover, reduce heat to medium and simmer for seven minutes;

4. Add potatoes, add remaining water and simmer for half an hour.

The dish turns out to be very satisfying and can easily act as a side dish and as a warm salad.

Dish of stewed sauerkraut with meat and mushrooms

Braised sauerkraut with meat and mushrooms is prepared in the same sequence, only a set of products will require a slightly different

Ingredients:

  • 1 \ 2 three-liter cans of sauerkraut (about 1 kg);
  • 500 g of meat;
  • two onions;
  • 4-5 Art. tablespoons of tomato sauce or ketchup;
  • vegetable oil (for frying);
  • sugar to taste;
  • 400 ml of boiling water;
  • salt and spices to taste.

This dish must be prepared in the same way as described in the recipe above, only the pickled vegetable needs to be washed additionally in a colander and squeezed so that there is no excess of liquid, and the vegetables did not turn out to be too soft and falling apart.
