Latin name: Tricholoma batschii.
Family: Tricholoma (Ordinary).
Synonyms: Tricholoma subannulatum, Tricholoma fracticum.
Hat: semicircular, from 7 to 15 cm in diameter, with age acquires a more open shape. Often in the center you can see a small depression. The surface is shiny, smooth, with a touch of silky feel. The color is uneven - chestnut-red, brown-red, yellow-chestnut. The edges of the caps are turned up at a young age, and in adult specimens they often crack and become uneven.
Leg: cylindrical, high - up to 13 cm, quite thick - up to 3 cm in diameter. The structure is dense, and the surface is fibrous with a flaky coating. The leg of a broken row is often tapering at the base. In addition, it has a characteristic ring, indicating the edibility of the fungus. Spread: most often found in whole groups, preferring fertile soil. They grow mainly in pine forests on sandy soils, which are covered with fallen needles and moss.
