Champignon and ham dishes

You can find mushrooms of different sizes on sale, but you should choose them based on the dish you want to cook. Small ones are ideal for salads, soups, medium ones for stewing and frying, large ones are suitable for stuffing, pies or grilling.

Oven-Baked Stuffed Ham and Cheese Mushrooms

There are several recipes for cooking stuffed champignons in combination with ham, which are good as a flavorful appetizer, and you can serve it both hot and cold.

For cooking, you will need 10-12 large champignons, in which the legs are removed after cleaning, and a little teaspoon needs to be scraped out of the core. This must be done as carefully as possible, so as not to damage the hat, and as a result, it remains intact.

For such an amount of the main product should be prepared:

  • 150 g of ham;
  • 1-2 tbsp. spoons of sour cream;

There is another recipe for this dish. Preparation of the main product proceeds as described above, but the taste of the dish will be more piquant due to the addition of sweet pepper and cilantro to the filling.

So, for 10-12 large mushrooms, you will need:

  • 150 g of ham;
  • 1 bell pepper;
  • 1 onion;
  • vegetable oil - for frying;
  • cilantro - 4 branches;
  • pepper and salt - to your own taste;
  • hard cheese - 100 g.

Stuffed champignons with ham, hard cheese and sweet pepper are cooked for about 40 minutes. Onions are fried in a hot pan in vegetable oil, then chopped mushroom legs, ham, bell pepper, cilantro are added.
