Mushroom ryadovka fused: description and photo

Ryadovka is a very common lamellar ground fungus with a hat of different colors or just white. Young fruiting bodies have convex or hemispherical hats, which in adulthood become flat or outstretched, with torn edges.

Ryadovka needs special attention when collecting, because many types of these fruiting bodies growing in groups are inedible and even poisonous. In this article we will pay attention to a row of fused - conditionally edible mushroom. Many mushroom pickers consider it a valuable and edible fruit body, which, when cooked, turns out to be very tasty.

Fused white row or twisted row row got its name as a result of the fact that it grows in large close clusters. These groups of rows are often fused with hats and legs. A photo of the row of fused will become for you an additional guideline for the successful search for the mushroom.

Description of white fused rowing

We suggest that you familiarize yourself with the photo and description of the white fused rowing.

Latin name: Lyophyllum connatum.

Family: Lyophilic.

Gender: Lifillum.

Grade: Agaricomycetes.

Synonyms: rowing twisted.

Hat: reaches a diameter of 3 cm to 10, and sometimes 15 cm. Young mushrooms have a convex cap shape, then flat-convex. The surface is smooth and dry, velvety to the touch, white. During rains, it acquires a bluish or gray-olive hue. The edges of the cap are turned down, and in old specimens they become wavy.

Leg: length from 4 cm to 12, thickness from 0.5 cm to 2 cm. Has a flattened or cylindrical shape, velvety to the touch. The structure is fibrous, with age it becomes hollow, however, the white color remains unchanged throughout the entire growth of the fungus. The fused base of the legs form a kind of common root.

Pulp: elastic, has a white color, with a smell resembling cucumber.

Records: the mushroom, the fused ryadovka, is a lamellar species with moderately frequent plates, which slightly descend to the peduncle or grow widely to it. In young mushrooms, the plates are white or light cream, in adults, they become pale yellow.

Disputes: white, with a smooth surface, elliptical in shape.

Application: fused rows possess immunostimulating actions and have the ability to inhibit the development of tumors.

Edibility: considered to be an edible fungus, however, recently it has been classified as conditionally edible species. However, there are no cases of poisoning caused by a row of fused.

Spread: grows in forests of various types from late August to October. Often it can be found along forest paths, in illuminated areas of the forest. Fruits fused bundles of up to 20 specimens of different sizes.

Similarities and differences: it is difficult to confuse the characteristic method of fruiting rowans with other species of mushrooms. Other species of ceps do not form such splices at the roots. However, they can be confused with edible overgrown mushrooms - a collibia, as well as marbled honey agaric, which causes brown rot of the tree.

Beginner mushroom pickers still wonder: is the fused rowing poisonous or not? As mentioned above, this mushroom was previously considered edible, but now it is considered to be an inedible species and even poisonous. But experienced lovers of the “silent hunt” still do not stop picking up merged rows to prepare tasty dishes and preparations from them.

Mushroom cooking

The preparation of fused rowing practically does not differ from the preparation of other species of this family. I must say that cleaning and soaking are carried out in the same way. Boiling the rows should be carried out in salted water with the addition of a pinch of citric acid for 20-30 minutes. After pre-treatment, they can be fried, stewed, pickled or salted. Many culinary experts claim that in marinated and salted form, the fused rowing has an amazing taste.

Only by examining in detail the description and photo of the order of fused (Lyophyllum connatum), you can decide whether it is poisonous or not. You can ask experienced mushroom pickers for advice, try the cooked row, and then make the final decision.
