The line is giant and ordinary

In the spring, at the same time as morels in the forests, lines (Gyromitra) also appear: these mushrooms can also be considered native Russian, as in other countries they are practically not widespread or not popular. But in Russia Gyromitra was revered from ancient times: in the harvest season, when winter supplies were running out, there was little table without these mushrooms.

Be very careful! Among the lines there are both edible and poisonous species. Giant lines are surprisingly tender and tasty mushrooms, and ordinary lines are poisonous. Distinguishing them is very simple: poisonous ordinary stitches have a dark brown-chestnut or brownish curly hat and a straight and long stalk, and edible giant stitches have a very wide bumpy stalk, which is why they got this name, and they are much lighter in color in color - yellowish. As you can see, the mushrooms of the line look differently, so it’s difficult to make mistakes when collecting them.
