Alder flake or alder ognevka
Category: inedible.Hat (diameter 4-7 cm): yellow or ocher color. Slightly convex or almost completely open. The edges are brighter than the center, often with remnants of the bedspread.
Leg (height 4-9 cm): yellow or slightly brown, cylindrical, sometimes curved. With a mushroom ring, which disappears as the alder flake grows.
Records: frequent and densely adhered to the leg. Young mushrooms are pale yellow, but over time they become very red.
Pulp: light yellow, very thin and bitter.
Doubles: are absent.
Alder flake or alder ognevka grows from mid-August to early October.
Where can I find: alder flake is found in deciduous forests on the roots of trees and rotten stumps. Prefers the neighborhood of alder, willow and birch.
Eating: since strong bitterness does not disappear even with heat treatment, alder flakes are not consumed.
