Gray row grows in the suburbs in all mixed and coniferous forests. The mushroom bears fruit from August until the beginning of the first frost. Often found by friendly families near pine trunks, prefers to settle on moss, as well as on fallen, rotted leaves and needles.
The hat of this type of medium size is up to 12 cm, round-conical, convex, with a small tubercle in the center, fleshy. With age, this part of the fruiting body becomes flat, and the wrapped edges straighten and crack. The color of the hat corresponds to the name - pale or gray with a darker center, sometimes there is an admixture of purple or olive shades. The surface is smooth, and when it gets wet, it becomes slightly slippery.
The leg is high (up to 10 cm), thick (up to 3 cm), cylindrical, dense, expanded to the base, often hidden under a layer of moss, leaves and needles. The surface is fibrous, white, gray, sometimes yellowish. The upper part of the leg has a slight powdery coating.
The plates are wide, rare, sinuous, white; as they grow older, they acquire a gray or yellowish hue.
The flesh of the fruiting body is gray or white, when it breaks it sometimes turns yellow. Dense, with a delicate floury smell and pleasant taste.

Purple dressing in the suburbs
This type of fruiting body belongs to the Ryadovkov family and grows mainly in deciduous and mixed forests. It is a late autumn mushroom, as it grows in the October and November months. It must be said that among other edible mushrooms of the Moscow Region, purple rowan is one of the most popular and delicious.
The hat of the fruiting body has a characteristic color corresponding to the name, namely: purple-violet, dark purple, in the center - brown-purple. As you grow older, the shade fades and brightens. The shape of the hat is flat-convex, with a diameter of up to 20 cm, with a thin curved edge, the surface is smooth, moist, fleshy.
Leg in height from 3 to 10 cm, in thickness - about 3 cm, cylindrical, dense, with a thickening downwards. The surface is covered with purple-brown felt mycelium. With age, the leg fades, becomes faded, and also hollow.
The plates are frequent, violet, in adults, there is also a loss of color to pale lilac.
The pulp is dense, thick, unusual bright purple color. The taste of the purple row is pleasant, but slightly pronounced. The same can be noted for odors.
